Cruise-In

The MainStreet Cruise-In is held on the 4th Saturday of each month April – October.  See hundreds of classic cars as they line the streets of downtown. 12:00 to 4:00 pm around the Courthouse Square. 2026 Schedule: April 25 – May 23 – June 27 – July 25 – Aug 22 – Sept 26 – Oct 24. Y’all Festival

Hot Slaw & Art Y’all Festival – April 11, 2026… 11:00 – 7 pm

Hot slaw is a unique side dish or topping not familiar to many menus… UNLESS you are in Cleveland. The mustard, mayo, secret sauce concoction is famous and common around these parts. Celebrate the community’s hot slaw heritage with us! Complete details at hotslawfestival.com.

Downtown Dine Around – Thursday, April 30, 2026 5:00 – 8:00 pm. Our Downtown has a great selection of locally owned eateries and the Downtown Dine Around is your opportunity to check them all out for one low price. Enjoy food samples at each participating location.

Friday Festivals – enjoy live music each Friday in June from 7-9 p.m. at First Street Square, located at the intersection of 1st Street & Parker Street. Sponsored by Wacker Charleston and presented by MainStreet Cleveland and the Chamber of Commerce Tourism Development.

on First

Farmers on First Grocery Market – Every Sunday 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at First Street Square. Vendors include: Belle Chocolate, Chattanooga Culture, Dollar & Scents, Gentry Homestead, Grindstone Garden, Hoe Hop Valley Farms, Ocoee Creamery, Other Milk, River’s Ridge, Ruddle’s Bread & Books, Star Mountain Teas, Sweet South, Valley Farm and Vuck Farms.

Apple Festival

Halloween
Block Party

Downtown Halloween Block Party – Oct. 31, – Don’t miss this 35-year downtown tradition complete with tons of Mars chocolate on Treat Street, live music, delicious foods, games, and costume contest. 5-10 p.m. 

Live Music
& Performers

Live Music is a downtown tradition at the Block Party and many other events throughout the year. Performers will typically be located at the Courthouse Stage or in First Street Square.

on the Square

Christmas on the Square – This November 21, 2026 event kicks off the holiday season with at day of nostalgia and charm. Don’t miss this FREE afternoon of holiday cheer featuring art and handmade items, shopping at downtown retailers and visits with Santa!

Tree Lighting

Community Tree Lighting – The November 21st Christmas on the Square day wraps up with the finale being the Community Tree lighting at 6 p.m. This fun, family event takes place at the corner of Broad and First Street.

Christmas Parade

Christmas Parade – This downtown tradition is a key highlight of the Christmas season. It typically features over 200 floats and other entries and takes place at 6:00 pm on the first Saturday in December.

Holiday Lights – Enjoy the downtown decorations, Christmas lights and holiday window displays throughout the season.

Membership Meetings

Typically MainStreet Cleveland membership meetings are held on the 4th Monday of each month. At times this schedule will be revised to the 4th Monday to accommodate for holidays and other special situations. We hope you will join us. Visitors are always welcome.
